In case of the ADDIE Model, the development of the overall design is in a linear manner because of sequence to be followed for optimum levels of efficiency in training and development (Salas-Rueda et al. 2020). Every step in this model has to be completed by adhering to every stage sequentially. Therefore, there cannot be skipping of the stage of the Design stage to move from the Analysis stage to the Development stage. However, in case of the Kemp Model, the development of the overall design is in a non-linear manner because of scope for alterations in different stages at different points of time in the entire process of training and development (Velter et al. 2020).
